i missed the day-of anniversary because i'm fucking stupid but uh, i just passed 3 years as a supporter on newgrounds. i'm super, super happy and proud to financially support such an awesome place full of talented people who care about online independent media.
when i was a middle schooler (probably even younger) and not really sure if i wanted to pursue art, i found newgrounds. i found newgrounds and i found the art portal, bursting with some of the coolest shit i've EVER seen, even to this day. young me was taken aback and i will forever hold onto the sense of amazement, of freedom and the countless nights spent browsing the art portal in my formative years and to this DAY.
to all the lovely people i've met in my time here, even if you've just left a rating or a "what's up?" and ESPECIALLY if you've taken time out of your life to critique my art: i'm appreciative, i'm humbled and i'm thankful. this place is bursting with ridiculous talent. i've found so many BALLER artists in my time here whose stuff i wait for RELIGIOUSLY. people i NEVER would have met if not for this website and the community that exists here. i'm not at the level that my favorite artists are, and i don't think i will be for quite a while. but as long as i'm alive, i'll do everything in my goddamn power to constantly push myself as an artist and grow into someone worthy enough to hopefully someday do for others what better artists have done for me.
